In Mid 2007 Dublin Bus announced the ordering of a Wright Gemini Pulsar Double Decker, equipped with a Hybrid Diesel Electric engine, on a 3 year lease from Wrightbus of Ballymena. The veichle arrived at Summerhill Garage in the Third week of October and since then has been on trials around Dublin, being released from decal application at the weekend.
On October 30th the veichle - Classified as WH1 - was shown outside Dublin Bus' head office on O'Connell Street, where the following photos were taken.

The veichle recieved it's decals over the bank holiday weekend, applied by Freeneys, being released earlier this week. It will now begin driver training, based from Summerhill Garage, before entering service, with Routes 16/16A hottly tipped to be the veichle's intended route.

WH1 is based on the Wright Pulsar Gemini Body, 50 standard Gemini's on Volvo Chassis are on order with the first due in November, and at least 13 destined for the Airlink service. AV121 will be at this point pushed onto Normal services.
WH1's arrival with Dublin Bus is a step in looking at alternatives to Petrolium & diesel powered veichles, and it is hoped that it may be successful with the Company.
